George Beveridge 

George Beveridge is Deputy Managing Director (Transformation/ Support), Sellafield Ltd. He is independent member of the Cumbria Vision Board for the Energy and Low Carbon Economy theme.

George has spent 22 years in a variety of roles in the UK nuclear industry, including two previous spells at Sellafield. His experience includes plant and project management, R&D, and business management as well as general management of several businesses. George has been involved at Sellafield, Capenhurst, Reactor Sites, Aldermaston and Nirex during his career and has a broad knowledge of the whole UK nuclear sector.

He has also played a part in the socio-economic development of the areas in which he has worked, which included being a founding Director of the Cumbria Inward Investment Agency.

George has lived in West Cumbria for over 20 years and enjoys walking and mountain biking in his spare time.
