Alistair Wannop 

Alistair Wannop is a farmer and owner of Eden Golf Course. He is independent member of the Cumbria Vision Board for the Rural Economy theme.

He was educated at Sedbergh School and Newcastle University before returning to Cumbria to take the reigns of his family's business near Carlisle.

The business includea a 1,000 acre dairy and arrable farm and the 27 hole Eden Golf Club. Alistair is a board member of Carrs Milling Industries and English Farming and Food Partnerships and hugely committed to helping the Cumbrian economy to develop and thrive.

He is married with two children and enjoys playing golf and watching rugby in his spare time.
