Events

Cumbria Vision has been proud to support scores of events that celebrate the unique and diverse culture in the County.

Under the 2005-2008 events programme (funded through the Cumbria Rural Action Zone initiative) thousands of pounds worth of funding has been awarded to a wide spectrum of established and new events to ensure that residents and visitors remain entertained. Although the current events programme has finished there are joint plans with the Northwest Regional Development Agency to support events in the future.

In 2007/8 Cumbria Vision has sponsoring everything from leisurely traditional country shows and to lively music festivals to weird and wonderful art exhibitions while at the same time giving a helping hand to new and exciting ventures.
